Same language, different words
Pineapple is 菠萝 (bōluó) in Mainland China, but 鳳梨 (fènglí) in Taiwan. Many everyday things simply have different names on each side of the strait. If you learn from materials made on one side and live, travel or watch shows from the other, it's easy to get confused. These flashcards put both versions on the same card, so you recognize them wherever you are.
