About the Role

We are looking for a Mandarin Content & Education Intern to join us for a 3-month remote internship (renewable). This is a flexible, low-workload opportunity ideal for students or aspiring educators who want to gain hands-on experience in language education, content creation, and early-stage business development.

You’ll collaborate directly with the founders to design learning materials and contribute to the growth of Mandarin Zest.

What You’ll Do

• Co-create Chinese learning materials (grammar guides, graded readers, textbooks, etc.)
• Brainstorm and develop new content ideas for learners
• Contribute to discussions on sales strategy and business development
• Help shape the pedagogical direction of our content

Workload & Structure

• Duration: 3 months (renewable)
• Remote and flexible
• Expected output: ~1 piece of content per month (3 total per internship period)

Who We’re Looking For

• Passionate about education and language learning
• Ideally a student or recent graduate looking to build a portfolio
• Strong understanding of the challenges of learning Chinese
• Advanced level of Mandarin OR native speaker
• Creative, proactive, and able to work independently

Compensation

This is an unpaid internship. However, all work produced will be credited and can be used as part of your professional portfolio.
