Structured joint study sessions to help you uplevel your Chinese and speak confidently. It is an inclusive space for all learners: we don't judge but help each other.

Who we are
We're a community of Chinese learners who meet regularly online to speak Chinese.
We're a place where learners connect, practice, and grow together.
All of our sessions are held online, and we welcome learners of every level, from complete beginners to advanced speakers.
How does it work?
Our sessions are organized by theme, focus area (speaking, writing, grammar, reading, and more), and level, so there's always something that's right for you.
Sessions are held throughout the week at different times.
You can find here the fixed sessions for the upcoming month. New sessions are added regularly by the leaders as the month goes by.
Supporting materials is provided for every session.
Gabrielle is from Ohio, United States. She earned a BA in Chinese with a minor in Korean. She also spent one summer in Taipei, Taiwan, through the Fulbright Foundation.
Originally from Poland, Dorota developed a passion for Chinese in high school and spent several years in mainland China and Taiwan. She earned a Chinese-taught Master’s in Political Science from National Taiwan University.
Originally from Belgium, Antoine lived more than 5 years in Taipei, Taiwan. He graduated from a Chinese-taught master’s program in Political Science at National Taiwan University.
Coming from Taichung, Taiwan, Vanessa is an experienced Chinese language tutor. She likes to lead easy-going conversations and meet new friends through regular language exchanges. She is a patient and curious listener.

All levels are welcome! We have fixed weekly sessions for both beginners and advanced. We also regularly tailor new sessions based on the members' needs.
No, our sessions aren't classes. You will not be lectured by a teacher for 45 minutes. The idea is for members to speak Chinese with each other. It is a nice way to seek more speaking practice either after your regular class or if you self-study.
The sessions take place on Google Meet. Once you join the club, you will receive access to a Google calendar and a private channel in our Discord community.
Yes, the club lives for and with its members. We constantly seek feedbacks and adapt sessions or create new ones based on the members' suggestions.
Yes, absolutely, you can host a session, even just for fun, because you want to talk about a topic not yet covered or you want to practice your hosting skills.
