Mandarin Zest Club — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your membership in the Mandarin Zest Club ("the Club"), a service provided by Mandarin Zest OÜ ("Mandarin Zest," "we," "us," "our"), a company registered in Estonia. By subscribing to the Club, you agree to these Terms.
1. Membership Plans
The Club offers two membership options:
- Monthly Membership — billed on a recurring monthly basis at the price displayed at checkout.
- Yearly Membership — billed as a single upfront annual payment. Yearly memberships are not set up as recurring/auto-renewing subscriptions.
2. Billing
2.1 Monthly Membership
Your Monthly Membership will automatically renew and be charged each month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on each renewal date.
2.2 Yearly Membership
Your Yearly Membership is charged once, in full, at the time of purchase, and covers a 12-month period. It does not renew automatically.
Approximately one (1) month before your Yearly Membership is due to expire, we will contact you to ask whether you wish to renew. If you do not respond or decline, your membership will simply end at the conclusion of the paid 12-month period — no further charge will be made without your confirmation.
3. Cancellation
3.1 Monthly Membership
You may cancel your Monthly Membership at any time by contacting us at contact@mandarinzest.com. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing month, and you will retain access to Club benefits until that date. No partial-month refunds are issued for cancellations initiated by you (see Section 4).
3.2 Yearly Membership
Because Yearly Memberships are not recurring, there is no need to actively cancel to prevent renewal — see Section 2.2. If you wish to end your membership before your paid year is complete, please see Section 4 regarding refunds.
4. Refund Policy
As a general rule, membership fees are non-refundable, whether paid monthly or yearly. This applies to cancellations initiated by the member, non-use of Club benefits, or dissatisfaction with the service, except where required otherwise by applicable law.
4.1 Exception — Closure of the Club
If Mandarin Zest is forced to close or permanently discontinue the Club for any reason, members will be reimbursed as follows:
- Monthly Membership members will be refunded the amount paid for the current billing month.
- Yearly Membership members will be refunded a prorated amount corresponding to the remaining unused months of their annual membership, calculated from the date the Club closes to the end of the paid 12-month term.
Refunds under this section will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable time following the Club's closure, and members will be notified directly with details of the process.
5. Membership Benefits
Club membership includes access to live group study sessions, the private Club community space, a discount on Mandarin Zest digital products, and priority access to bootcamps and study trips, as further described on the Club page. Mandarin Zest reserves the right to adjust the specific schedule, format, or content of these benefits from time to time, provided the overall value of membership is maintained.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or for legal/regulatory reasons. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active members (e.g., by email) in advance of the change taking effect. Continued membership after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence if you are an EU consumer.
